Architect and scholar Renato Rizzi, along with the team from IUAV University of Venice Susanna Pisciella and Giorgia Antonioli, in collaboration with a group of local assistants and higher education institutions of Tbilisi, will conduct a workshop aimed at studying the city and developing landscape models of different scales. This initiative will involve multidisciplinary professionals and enthusiasts selected through an Open Call.
The project emphasizes the significance of the city's natural characteristics and the value of handmade craftsmanship today. It employs a unique technique developed by Rizzi, resulting in distinctive pieces of gypsum. The models, which are of various sizes and scales, aim to enhance the public's understanding of the city landscape and provide a comprehensive view of Tbilisi, offering perspectives that are usually inaccessible.
