The event brought together urban designer Edouard Moreau, Berlin-based architects Victor Karovskiy and Anton Gorlenko, and architect James O’Brien in an online format, exploring the role of shared urban spaces through projects across Germany, France, and Mexico. The discussions were moderated by Nata Tatunashvili, co-founder of Ubani and founder of architecture studio NWDS.
The conference is part of the broader research project "Ezologia — Porous Body of Tbilisi," which studies the Tbilisian Courtyard and was initiated by Ubani, together with NWDS.
The event was hosted and supported by Design Institute and was part of European Action Week 2026, hosted by Architects For Future.
The project was funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) and the Federal Environment Agency (UBA). Funding is provided pursuant to a resolution of the German Bundestag.
